Drivers will be allowed to walk each course before the competition begins tan to inspect each obstacle. While walking the course drivers shall no alter, adjust or in any way move an obstacle or any part thereof. Should a competitor have any questions regarding a specific obstacle, he should call it to the attention of the show chairman or judge at that time. Once a class has begun all obstacles shall remain as they were prior to the beginning of the class.

Cantering is not allowed. Each break in gait (defined as three strides) will result in a 10 second penalty. The third break in gait will result in elimination. In a multiple hitch all horse must be cantering for it to be considered a break in gait.
